STOCKHOLM BEAUTY ON WATER
Stockholm is bursting with life and bustling with activity all year round, offering visitors a rich variety of events and activities, culture, shopping, restaurants and great nightlife. Why not visit some of the city´s 70 museums and sights, 100 galleries, 80 cinemas, 50 theatres or 700 bars.
When in Stockholm, try to visit the archipelago - one of the world's most spectacular. While the Stockholm Archipelago may seem practically infinite, it actually consists of 24,000 islands, islets and rocks. During summer, the archipelago is filled with sailboats as many Stockholmers ply the waters from island to island.
Visitors can enjoy our archipelago by travelling on one of the many white steamers or modern vessels.
For more information on what to see and do, contact the Stockholm Tourist Centre.
