Registration will open again 12 March
Registration for the 2014 ASICS Stockholm Marathon will open again at 11:00 CET 12 March.
The registration closed 10 February when 21.813 runners had registered. 200 of them have now cancelled their entry. This means that 200 more runners will be accepted when registration opens 12 March.
ASICS Stockholm Marathon now full
The maximum number of runners (21,500) was reached on 10 February and registration closed so unfortunately it´s now too late to register online for the 2014 ASICS Stockholm Marathon.
21,813 runners are now on the start list, which is a new record for the ASICS Stockholm Marathon. Last year 21,736 entries were accepted.

Runners from 92 nations
Runners from 92 nations have entered this year’s ASICS Stockholm Marathon – the highest number of nations ever. After Sweden, the country with the most runners is, as usual, Finland. Following Finland is Great Britain, Germany, Norway, France, Denmark, USA and Italy.
The number of female runners continues to rise. 5,915 women have entered the race – 27 per cent of the total start field. Both figures are records for the event. Last year 5,641 women entered.
Some important dates
• 31 March - competition and practical information about 2014 ASICS Stockholm Marathon on this website.
• End of April – participants will receive by post their ’confirmation of entry’, a map of the course and brief information about the race.
• Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 May – Collect your number bib at the Marathon Expo in Danicahallen at Östermalms IP sports ground (see map). Östersmalms IP is located behind Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
• 12:00 on Saturday 31 May - start of the 36th ASICS Stockholm Marathon.
Official travel agencies
You can still register for the 2014 ASICS Stockholm Marathon. 400 places in the marathon are reserved for the official travel agencies.
