WELCOME TO ADIDAS PREMIÄRMILEN MARCH 28, 2026

Here you will find everything you need to know for adidas Premiärmilen on March 28.

START CERTIFICATE

You will receive your start certificate by email on 12 March. If you register after 12 March, your start certificate will be emailed to you within a few days after your registration. Bring the start certificate when collecting your race bib. Show the start certificate on your phone when picking up your bib. If you no longer have the email, please bring a valid ID. If you are unable to collect your bib yourself, you may forward the start certificate to someone else who can pick it up for you.

RACE BIB PICK-UP AT LÖPLABBET

You can collect your race bib in the adidas pop-up store at Löplabbet, Kungsgatan 35, on 26–27 March between 10:00–19:00. If you cannot come yourself, you may give your start certificate to someone who collects your bib on your behalf.
If you are travelling from afar, it will also be possible to pick up your race bib at the information tent in the event area between 09:00–11:00 on 28 March.

20% DISCOUNT ON ADIDAS APPAREL & ACCESSORIES

Take the opportunity to refresh your running gear for spring. From 26–29 March, adidas Premiärmilen participants receive 20% off adidas apparel and accessories (excluding the SWE Collection with Swedish Athletics) in the adidas pop-up store at Löplabbet, Kungsgatan 35. Show your start certificate together with an ID at checkout.

RACE BIB

Your race bib is personal and must not be transferred to another runner. For optimal timing accuracy, the tab at the top of the bib—containing the data chip—must be folded out from your body at an angle between 45 and 90 degrees.
On the back of your race bib, write the name and phone number of an emergency contact, as well as any medication or medical conditions. This helps our first aid team assist you if you experience any issues during the race.

Not Registered Yet?

If you haven’t registered for adidas Premiärmilen, you can still do so—subject to availability—via the regular registration page until 09:00 on 28 March. The registration fee is 645 SEK (2–28 March).

Getting There

Norra Djurgården, where adidas Premiärmilen takes place, is part of the National City Park, a forest area with unique natural values. The area is protected, so we ask you to consider the environment when choosing your transportation on the event day. The easiest way to get to the event area is by taking the red line 14 of the subway or the Roslagsbanan lines 27–29 to Universitetet, and bus 50, 540, 639, 670, or 676 (stop at Universitetet or Universitetet norra). Additional information can be found at sl.se. From the subway station, follow the adidas Premiärmilen signs to the start.

PARKING

If you are arriving by car, there are a limited number of parking spaces available in the Frescati area along Frescativägen, at Stockholm Frescati Sports Center, and at the University’s main parking area south of the main University building. Please note that all parking spaces are subject to fees. Make sure to follow the current parking regulations and read the signage carefully.
However, we strongly recommend using public transport to reach the event area.

TRAFFIC INFORMATION

Click here for more information on how traffic will be affected in Norra Djurgården on the event day, 28 March.

WARM-UP

You are responsible for your own warm-up before the race, and we recommend giving your body a good start with a light warm-up. We also suggest using the bike and pedestrian paths leading uphill toward the University.
Warm-up in front of the start line on Baron Rålambs väg will not be permitted, except for the elite runners in start group 1.

START

We use several start groups to ensure a smooth and efficient start, and to minimise the need for overtaking. Choose the start group you feel best matches your expected pace when you arrive on site. Please respect the recommended time ranges for each start group.

To reduce congestion along the course, only a limited number of runners are allowed in each start group. You may be asked to start in the next group if a start corral becomes full.

START GROUPS

Start group 1 (<38 min) gathers in the start corral on Baron Rålambs väg. All other runners should gather by their designated start group sign and wait there until their group is guided into the corral.

Note: To avoid congestion, please do not approach the start area until it is time for your designated start group to line up. Start times may be adjusted slightly — additional start groups with narrower time intervals may be added if the number of participants requires it.

PACERS & SEEDING

In 2026, adidas Premiärmilen will be the only 10K race that provides qualifying times for adidas Stockholm Marathon. To give you the best possible chance of achieving your goal time over 10 km, we will have professional pace setters helping you run your fastest mile.
They will carry flags clearly marking the target finishing time they are pacing for.

Your result at adidas Premiärmilen will automatically determine your seeding for adidas Stockholm Marathon. There will be pace setters corresponding to the marathon qualifying times

BANAN

The adidas Premiärmilen course runs through Norra Djurgården. The start and finish area is located approximately 500 metres from Universitetet metro station. You will run one loop on a 10‑kilometre course with a total elevation gain of 117 metres.
The surface consists of asphalt (64.7%), gravel (29.8%), paving slabs (5.3%), and wooden bridge (0.2%). The course has been officially measured by Micke Hill, one of the Swedish Athletics Federation’s certified course measurers.
Course details are subject to change.

WATER STATIONS

There will be two aid stations along the course. The first is located at 4.6 km and the second at 7.6 km. Both Enervit sports drink and water will be served — sports drink at the first tables, followed by water. Water will also be available in the event area before the start and after the finish.

SPLIT TIME

A split time will be displayed at the 5 km mark. Please note that the clock is based on the first start group, which starts at 11:00. This means that if you run in the second, third, or later groups, you will need to subtract five or ten minutes from the time shown on the split-time clock.

COURSE ACTIVATIONS

You who are running adidas Premiärmilen should feel that you are the focus of this day. You’ll be cheered on by the spectators, our volunteers, and our DJs. Sneakerkliniken’s DJ will be located at around 5.9 km, and Runacademy’s energetic cheer squad will be stationed approximately 7.3 km into the race, giving you energy all the way to the finish!

MINIMUM AGE

The race follows the competition rules of the Swedish Athletics Federation. All participants run at their own risk. The minimum age is 15 years (the year you turn 15), which means you must be born in 2011 or earlier to participate.

COMPETITION RULES

Walking poles, strollers, inline skates, roller skis, bicycles, handcycles, and racing wheelchairs are not permitted.
For participants using a wheelchair, the following applies:
• Same minimum age as other participants
• Guide runners are optional and free of charge (contact [email protected] to register a guide)
• No competitive wheelchair division
• Freewheel attachment recommended
• No racing wheelchairs permitted
• Start in the final start group
• Accessibility may be limited in some sections of the course due to kerbs, snow, or ice

PRIZE MONEY

Prize money of SEK 10,000, 6,000, and 4,000 will be awarded to the first, second, and third fastest runners in both the women’s and men’s categories. To be eligible for prize money, you must start in the first start group at 11:00. The first three runners across the finish line in each category will be placed 1–3.

PLEASE NOTE

A 10,000‑metre race is a challenging distance, and it’s important to save energy for the final kilometres. Do not start if you are not feeling completely healthy — and do not push yourself to continue if you feel unwell during the race. Running while sick, congested, or feverish can be risky.

SERVICE

CHANGING FACILITIES

We recommend that you arrive dressed for the race. For SEK 40, you can change at Frescati Sports Center, located a few hundred metres from Universitetet metro station. From the sports centre, it is approximately 800 metres to the event area. Follow the adidas Premiärmilen directional signs from Frescati Sports Center to the start.
There will also be a changing tent in the event area (no shower facilities), but space is limited.

TOILETS

Toilets are available in the event area. Please use the toilets — not the surrounding nature — as we are in the Royal National City Park.
Free menstrual products are always available in our information tent at all our events.

BAG DROP

A bag drop area will be available next to the event area, opening at 10:00. At each bag drop section — you choose which one — you will receive a wristband that you attach to your own bag. The volunteer will mark your race number on the wristband.
Please drop off your bag in good time before the start, as queues may occur. Remember to bring your own bag (a transparent outer bag can be helpful in wet weather, as all bags are stored outdoors).
We strongly advise against bringing valuables, as we do not offer a separate valuables storage.

FINISH AREA SERVICES

After crossing the finish line, you will receive your medal (unless you opted out of receiving one). If you chose not to receive a medal during registration — as part of our sustainability initiative — your race bib will display “NO MEDAL”.
You will then be offered a Vitamin Well drink, a Knoppers bar (contains nuts), and a protein bar from Barebells.

SELFIE SPOT

Take a fun selfie after finishing adidas Premiärmilen, together with your official race time. Maybe you hit a new PB — show off your achievement to friends and family!

RESULTS

Preliminary results will be available immediately after the race at premiarmilen.se.
The official results will be published about one week later. Regardless of which start group you choose, your time is measured from the moment you cross the start line until you cross the finish line (net time).

MEDICAL SERVICES

Our first aid team will be present in the event area. Do not start the race if you are not feeling fully healthy — running with a cold or feeling unwell can be risky. Consult the first aid team before the start if you are unsure.

During the race, their role is to provide first aid and ensure that participants needing further care are transported to hospital. Remember to save enough energy for the final kilometres, and do not push yourself if you feel sick or injured.
The first aid team’s responsibility is not to help unwell runners continue the race — they have the authority to remove participants who are injured or exhausted from the course.
If you need help returning to the event area, motorcycle or ambulance transport can be arranged. Contact the nearest volunteer if assistance is needed.

SUSTAINABILITY

As organisers of a major event, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact — and you, as a participant, can also contribute by using public transport, minimising single‑use materials, making climate‑smart choices, and considering carbon offsetting.
Read more about Marathongruppen’s sustainability efforts here: Hållbarhet – Marathongruppen.

In the forests and park areas, please stay on the marked paths and respect the rules of the National City Park. The park is home to many animals — make sure to take all your safety pins with you when you leave!

We are proud of our partnership with Sortera, which ensures that all waste in the event area is sorted at recycling stations. Please dispose of your waste in the correct bags — clear signage will guide you. After the event, Sortera collects the material for recycling at their facilities.
Thank you for always looking for the Sortera recycling station before disposing of anything. Your efforts make a big difference.
