STARTING CONFIRMATION

You will receive your starting confirmation via email on April 4. If you register after April 4, you will receive your starting confirmation via email within a few days after registration. Please bring your starting confirmation when collecting your bib; you can show it on your phone to avoid unnecessary printing. If you have misplaced your starting confirmation, bring ID.

BIB PICK-UP AT LÖPLABBET

You can collect your bib at the Adidas pop-up store at Löplabbet, Kungsgatan 35, on April 18–19 from 10:00-19:00. If you are unable to pick up your bib, you can authorize someone else to do it on your behalf. If you are traveling from afar, you can collect your bib at the Information Tent in the event area from 09:00-11:00 on April 20.

25% DISCOUNT ON ADIDAS CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES

Take advantage of updating your running wardrobe for spring. From April 18–21, there will be a 25% discount on Adidas clothing and accessories for adidas Premiärhalvan participants at the adidas pop-up store at Löplabbet, Kungsgatan 35. Show your starting confirmation along with identification at the checkout.

BIB

The bib is personal and cannot be transferred to another runner. For optimal timing, the tab at the top containing a data chip should be unfolded from the body at an angle between 45 and 90 degrees. On the back of the bib, write the name and phone number of a relative and if you are on medication or have any illnesses, to assist our medical staff in case of any issues during the race.

LATE REGISTRATION

If you missed registering for the adidas Premiärhalvan, you can do so digitally (subject to availability) via the regular registration page until 1 hour before the start on April 20th. The late registration fee is 665 SEK (April 15th-20th). Only payment via Swish is accepted. Due to high demand and many late registrations, a medal is not included with late registration.

EVENT AREA

GETTING THERE

Southern Djurgården, where the adidas Premiärhalvan takes place, is part of the National City Park, a forest area with unique natural values. The area is protected, so please consider the environment when choosing transportation on the event day. Please be at the event area at Biskopsudden well in advance of the start. Many people will be using public transportation such as trams, buses, and ferries as there are other events on Djurgården on the same day. If possible, please consider taking your bike to the event area and park your bike at our bicycle parking area.

There are several ways to get to the event area at Biskopsudden:

Additional information is available at sl.se.

PARKING

We recommend leaving your car at home as Djurgården is closed to car traffic over the weekend for those without a special permit. If you must bring your car, we recommend parking at Narvavägen and Karlavägen. Then take public transportation or walk the last bit to Biskopsudden. You can also park at Kaknästornet and walk via Lindarängsvägen. Note that parking spaces are fee-based.

START

We have several start groups to ensure a smooth start and to minimize runners having to pass each other. Choose the start group that you think suits you best when you arrive. Those registered for the Adidas Adizero Running Tour start in the first start group.

  • 11:00 AM: For runners completing the half marathon under 1 hour 35 minutes.
  • 11:05 AM: For runners completing the half marathon between 1 hour 35 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes.
  • 11:10 AM: For runners completing the half marathon between 1 hour 35 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes.

To reduce congestion along the course, only a certain number of participants are allowed in each start group, and you may be asked to start in the next start group if the starting area becomes full. Start times may be adjusted slightly, meaning there may be more start groups with narrower time intervals if the number of participants requires it.

The adidas Premiärhalvan course is on Southern Djurgården. The start and finish area is at Biskopsudden. The surface is asphalt and gravel. There are kilometer signs at each kilometer along the course. The 21,098-meter course is measured by the

Drinks and Energy Stations

Along the route, there will be seven fluid stations. They will be located after 2.4 km (water), 3.9 km (water and sports drink), 8.1 km (water and sports drink), 11.5 km (water and sports drink), 14.9 km (water), 16.1 km (water and sports drink), and 18.4 km (water). Enervit sports drink and water will be served at the fluid stations. Sports drink will be available on the first tables, followed by water.

There is also water in the event area before the start and after the finish. Along the route, there are two energy stations located just before the fluid stations. Salted licorice (11.5 km) and Dextro Energy tablets (16.1 km) will be served.

Four Split Time Displays

Split times will be displayed at 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and 20 km. Note that the clocks will start according to the first start group’s start time at 11:00. Therefore, if you are running in the second, third start group, etc., you will need to subtract five or ten minutes from the time shown on the clocks.

Motivational Activities Along the Route

As a participant in the adidas Premiärhalvan, you should feel like the focus of the day. You will be cheered on by the audience, our staff, and DJs. Runacademy’s cheering section will be located around 12.5 km into the race and will provide you with energy all the way to the finish line.

Maximum Time and Minimum Age

The Police Authority has permitted a maximum time of 3 hours. This means that if you start in the sixth start group, you must finish no later than 14:25. You must pass the event area at Biskopsudden at approximately 14.3 km before 13:30 to continue the race. If you arrive after the specified time, you will be directed straight to the finish line. The Swedish Athletics Association’s competition rules apply during the race. All participants compete at their own risk. The minimum age is 18 years (the year you turn 18), which means you must be born in 2006 or earlier to start.

Competition Rules

Walking sticks, strollers, inline skates, roller skis, bicycles, handcycles, and racing wheelchairs are not allowed. For wheelchair participation, the following applies:

  • Same age requirements as for other participants.
  • Escort is optional and free of charge (contact [email protected] when registering an escort).
  • No competition class.
  • Free-wheel is recommended.
  • No participation in racing wheelchair.
  • Start in the last start group.
  • Accessibility may be limited in some places along the route, as curbs may occur.

Prize Money

Prize money of SEK 10,000, SEK 6,000, and SEK 4,000 will be awarded to the first, second, and third fastest runners in the women’s and men’s classes. To compete for the prizes, you must start in the first start group at 11:00. The first three in each class to cross the finish line will be placed 1–3.

Considerations

21,098 meters is a long distance, and it’s important to have energy left for the end of the race. Do not participate if you are not completely healthy, and do not push yourself to continue if you feel sick. Running while you have a cold or feel unwell can be risky.

Services

Changing Rooms

We recommend that you arrive changed for the event. There is a tent for changing (no shower facilities) at the event area, but space is limited.

Toilets

There are toilets adjacent to the event area. There are also toilets at the fluid stations along the route. Use the toilets, not nature – remember that we are in the Royal National City Park. There are always free menstrual products available at our information booth at all our events for those who may need them!

Clothing Drop-off

There is an area for clothing drop-off adjacent to the event area. Tear off the perforated part at the bottom of the bib number and attach the perforated tag to your waterproof bag/container with spare clothes, which will be left at the clothing drop-off point at the event area. Place the other tag in the bag/container. Please drop off your bag/container well in advance of the start as queues may form. Remember to bring a bag/container for your clothes and a safety pin to attach the perforated label to your bag/container.

Finish Line Service

When you finish, you will first receive your nice medal (unless you actively chose to decline it!). In connection with registration, you had the opportunity to decline the medal as part of our sustainability efforts and to collectively try to reduce unnecessary consumption. On the bib number, you will find a symbol of a medal if you DID NOT decline the medal. Then we offer you the drink Vitamin Well, Corny Nuts & Choc Bar (cashew, peanut & two different chocolate variants), ProPud Smooth Brownie Protein Bar, and a banana.

Selfie Spot

Take a fun selfie after the finish at the adidas Premiärhalvan with your finish time. Perhaps you achieved a personal best and want to show off your incredible achievement!

Massage Service with STHLM PHYSIQUE

STHLM PHYSIQUE will offer massages to all tired legs after the finish. The massage costs SEK 50 for a 5-minute treatment. It can be booked and paid for on-site with card/Swish.

Results

Immediately after the race, you will find the preliminary results list at premiärhalvan.se. The official results list will be published just over a week after the race. Regardless of which start group you choose, your time will be calculated from when you cross the start line to the finish line.

Medical Service

Medical personnel and ambulances are available at the start/finish area. There are also medical personnel at the fluid stations along the route. The role of medical personnel is to provide first aid and ensure that participants who need further care are transported for treatment at the hospital. The medical personnel’s role is not to ensure that a participant who feels unwell or is obviously injured can continue. They have the right to remove injured or exhausted runners from the course. If you need help back to the event area, we have transportation service with motorcycles – contact the nearest staff member in that case.

SORTERA – A SUSTAINABLE COLLABORATION

We are incredibly proud of our collaboration with Sortera, which essentially means that we together sort all waste at the recycling station at the event area. Please be sure to throw your garbage into recycling and in the right bag. Clear signs show you how to sort. After the event, Sortera will pick this up for further processing at their facilities. Thank you for always looking for Sortera’s recycling station when you need to throw something away. It facilitates our cleaning, and you are an important part of our sustainable collaboration with Sortera. Read more about Sortera’s activities here.
